AKRON, OH - The Cleveland State men's soccer team dropped a 5-0 match at Akron Tuesday evening.

The Vikings fell to 5-10, while Akron improved to 9-5-1.

Akron took a 1-0 lead early in the first half on Adam Najem's seventh goal of the season from the top of the box. Najem tallied on two more in the first half to complete his first career hat trick.

The Zips added two more goals in the second half to keep the game out of reach for the Vikings.

Akron outshot the Vikings, 20-1, and held a 6-1 advantage in corner kicks.

CSU is back in action on Saturday (Nov. 1) when the Vikings host UIC for a 7:00 p.m. conference match.
