GREEN BAY, Wis. - Bryn Forbes reached double figures for the 11th straight game, but Green Bay shot 55-percent and had five players in double figures to claim a 77-50 win over Cleveland State in Horizon League action on Saturday afternoon at the Resch Center.

CSU slipped to 10-10 overall and 2-4 in the Horizon League, while the Phoenix improved to 10-9 overall and 4-2 in league play.

Forbes finished with 12 points and added four steals, while Junior Lomomba scored 12 points with four rebounds and a pair of stals. Luda Ndaye added eight points off the bench and Tim Kamczyc scored seven points and made three steals.

Jordan Fouse scored 17 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the Phoenix. He also tallied four assists, four steals and three blocked shots. Sultan Muhammad scored 15 points, while Alec Brown and Keifer Sykes scored 14 each. Brennan Cougill finished with 11 points.

Green Bay used a quick start behind two Sultan Muhammad three-pointers that helped the Phoenix to a 15-4 lead just over five minutes in. Back-to-back three-pointers by Junior Lomomba and Forbes - sandwiched around a Muhammad layup - brought CSU back within seven (17-10) at the 13:17 mark, but an 11-6 spurt by the Phoenix over the next four plus minutes extended the lead back to 12 points (28-16).

Green Bay shot 50-percent from the field in the second half and knocked down all 13 of its free throws in leading wire-to-wire.

The Phoenix controlled the glass, out-rebounding the Vikings, 41-18, including a 10-5 advantage on the offensive end, leading to 10 second chance points.

CSU did make 12 steals, forcing the Phoenix into 19 turnovers.

The Vikings are back in action on Wednesday (Jan. 23) when CSU hosts Loyola at 7:00 p.m. in the Wolstein Center.
