FAIRBORN, Ohio - For the sixth time this season four Vikings scored in double-digits, but it would not be enough as the Cleveland State women's basketball team fell at Wright State, 100-73. The Vikings are now 10-18 overall and 5-12 in the Horizon League, while the Raiders improve to 19-9 (12-4).

The Cleveland State offense was led by Shalonda Winton who tallied her 14th double-double of the season with 29 points and 10 rebounds. Honesty King notched 11 points and five rebounds, while Kiersten Green and Janelle Adams each recorded 10 points.

The Vikings were able to came within two (30-28) at the 6:10 mark of the first half following six straight points from Winton, but that would be as close as the Vikings would come for the final 26 minutes of the contest. The Raiders answered with a 6-0 run of their own to take a seven point lead at 35-28 with 5:05 left in the opening stanza. Kaila Montgomery, who tied her career-high Saturday, posted CSU's final six points of the half, closing the gap to five (44-39) going into halftime.

Wright State opened the second half on a 10-3 run to gain a 12-point lead (54-42) with 15:17 left to play. The Raiders would hold at least an 11 point lead for the rest of the contest, including their largest lead of 30 which they had with 11 seconds left in the contest.

Cleveland State was able to string together multiple points just three times throughout the second half, including a pair of 4-0 runs. At the 4:52 mark King converted a layup and Winton was 2-for-2 from the free throw on the following possession, while Winton and Haley Schmitt teamed up for the second run beginning at the 1:43 mark.

The Raiders, who tied a school record with 15 three-pointers during the contest, were led by the duo of Courtney Boyd and Kim Demmings who tallied 27 and 25 points respectively.

The Vikings will close out the regular season on Saturday (March 3) when they host Youngstown State at 2:00 p.m. Saturday's contest will serve as senior day for Cleveland State, as they honor the 2012 senior class.
