EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Cleveland State men's tennis team wrapped up action at the ITA Midwest Regional Saturday, competing in the doubles main draw and singles consolation bracket.
"It was a rough day for the Vikings today, but we had glimpses of some great tennis in all of our matches," interim assistant coach Frank Polito said. "We will now turn our focus to the spring season and work on some things during the off season to get ready for the league schedule."
The Vikings had two teams still alive in the main doubles draw today, with both teams falling in the round of 32. Jorg van der Vloet and Jay Jones fell to a tandem from Illinois (8-1), while Ali Shabiband Niklas Jonsson fell to a duo from Michigan (8-5).
