CLEVELAND, Ohio - Taylor Vidovic scored two goals and Natalie Daniels added a goal and two assists to lead Cleveland State past Ohio, 3-0, on Sunday afternoon at Krenzler Field.

The win improved the Vikings to 3-2 this year, while the Bobcats fell to 2-3.

Vidovic gave the Vikings a quick lead just 7:09 into the match with her second goal of the season. Sarah Zawie started the play by playing a ball forward to Daniels who found Vidovic whose shot beat the keeper from about 10 yards out.

Less than 10 minutes later, it was Daniels who found the net to give the Vikings a 2-0 lead. Frederike Dubeau controlled a ball that was crossed from the opposite field and worked her way up the left sideline, eventually dropping the ball off to Daniels who sent a rocket into the upper right hand corner of the goal for her second tally of the year.

Vidovic gave the Vikings a 3-0 lead two minutes before the half with her second tally of the game. Daniels again started the play with a ball up the sideline to Vidovic who beat the keeper from six yards out to the lower left corner of the goal.

Vidovic became the seventh player in school history to score two goals in a match.

The Vikings would take six shots in the first half, three of which resulted in goals. They wound up outshooting OU, 7-5, while also taking eight corner kicks to zero for the Bobcats.

CSU is back in action on Friday (Sept. 9) when the Vikings play at Wyoming at 4:00 p.m.
