TAMPA, Fla. -- The thunderstorms blanketing the entire central Florida area have led to the postponement of the first day of play at the USF Under Armour Showcase, which is being hosted by the University of South Florida.

Cleveland State was slated to play St. Joseph's at 3:00 p.m. and Jacksonville State at 7:00 p.m., but the persistent heavy rains in the area along with a forecast for more showers throughout the day led to the postponement. Tournament officials will attempt to reschedule as many of the canceled games as possible.

The Vikings are currently scheduled to open play in the tourney on Saturday (March 13) at 11:30 a.m. against Indiana. CSU will then face Boston University at 1:30 p.m.

Tourney play ends for the Vikings on Sunday (March 14) with a 9:30 a.m. contest against Pittsburgh. CSU will then travel cross state to play eight games in five days at the Rebel Spring Games in Kissimmee, Fla. starting on Monday (March 15) at 9:00 a.m. against St. Peters.
