CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Vikings won the doubles point and three singles matches to defeat Duquesne on Friday evening. The win pushes CSU to 5-2 on the season.
Sophomore Phil Orno led the team with a 6-4, 6-2 win over Alex Mast at No. 1 singles. Senior Brad Groleski defeated Mark Macuich 6-2, 7-6 (3) at No. 5 singles and freshman Chris Klepatz clinched the team win with a 6-3, 4-6, 6-4 win over Zach Skorupka at No. 3 singles.
"This has been an incredible run so far this season," head coach Brian Etzkin said. "Winning the doubles point was clutch, since we have not won the doubles points in several of our last 4-3 victories."
