MISCELLANEOUS NOTES
This was the second series meeting between CSU and Kansas State with the Wildcats winning the first meeting in Manhatten two seasons ago.
This game was also the second annual McLendon Scholarship Classic. CSU is now 0-2 in the McLendon games.
KSU led by as many as 11 (20-9, 9:50) before CSU ran off 11 straight to even the game at 20 (6:40). The Wildcats then ran off nine straight to take a 29-20 lead and led at half, 35-23.
The Vikings closed to within 46-43 (11:34) but a five-point possession extended the lead and CSU never got closer than four points down the stretch.
Cleveland State was out-rebounded for the third straight game this season, 36-30.
CSU shot just .214 in the first half (6-28) but bounced back to shoot .536 in the second (15-28) to shoot .375 for the game (21-56).
CSU forced 20 turnovers and made 12 steals.
