D'Aundray Brown
• Led the Vikings with a career high 15 points, his fourth career double-figure game (Old high was 10 done three times).
• Made his first seven shots of the game, going seven-for-nine from the field.
• Added 6 rebounds and matched his career high with three steals.

Norris Cole
• Scored in double figures for the seventh time in his career, finishing with a career-high matching 14 points.
• Was 6-for-14 from the field, missing playing time in the second half afte picking up his fourth foul early in the half.

Cedric Jackson
• Flirted with a triple-double, finishing with 8 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists, also making 3 steals.
• Left the game in the final minutes with a leg injury.

J'Nathan Bullock
• Recorded his 14th career double-double, finishing with 11 points and 10 rebounds.
• Started his 70th consecutive game, the fifth-longest streak in school history.

MISCELLANEOUS NOTES
• This was the third meeting between CSU and Oakland with the Vikings winning the previous two contests.
• Sophomore D'Aundray Brown scored the first basket of the year for CSU on a three-pointer with 18:44 left. It was his first career trey after going 0-for-8 from three-point in 2007-08.
• Oakland stormed out to a 19-7 lead with 13:14 left in the first half but CSU answered with a 9-0 run to close to 20-18 with 8:35 left. Oakland countered with a 9-1 burst to extend the lead back to double digits (29-19).
• CSU took its first lead (55-53) on a Norris Cole basket with 3:11 left.
J'Nathan Bullock, who last year was 13-13 from the line in the opener at USF, missed his fourth attempt of the game, making him 18-for-19 in season openers during his career.
• Both teams made five turnovers in the first half,but CSU defensive pressure forced 8 second half steals as Oakland committed 14 second half turnovers (CSU had 7 for 12 turnovers in the game).
• Oakland had a 47-43 edge on the boards, including 15 offensive rebounds.
