COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Cleveland State concluded play at the ITA Regional Tournament Saturday afternoon dropping two matches to opponents from Illinois and Wisconsin.

In his first singles match of the main draw, CSU's Phil Orno fell to Abe Souza of Illinois, 6-4, 6-2.

Senior Rob West was inserted to play in the following consolation match. West was defeated by Wisconsin's Mike Dierberger, 6-2, 6-4, finishing the weekend with a 2-2 record.

"The guys all learned a lot from this weekend and overall I'm happy with the way they played," said assistant coach Mark Barry. "Hopefully we can carry this energy into our next tournament."

The Vikings will come together as a team one more time to wrap up the fall season as they travel to Western Michigan Oct. 31.
