Final Stats

FAIRBORN, Ohio - Cleveland State dropped its fourth straight game in the Nutter Center, losing to Wright State, 59-51, on Monday night. The Raiders, who led by 20 points with 7:57 left, held off a late charge by the Vikings to improve to 12-14 overall and 8-7 in the Horizon League. CSU falls to 4-22, 2-13 with the loss.

The Vikings had one offensive letdown in both halves, which proved to be the difference in the game. CSU allowed the Raiders to go on a 14-2 burst in the first half and an 11-2 jaunt in the final stanza.

Both teams shot under 40 percent for the game, while the Raiders held a slight advantage in rebounds, 41-37. The Vikings held WSU to just six break points after allowing 20 in the first meeting just over two weeks ago.

Dominique Butler notched 11 points and a career-high 14 rebounds for her second straight double-double, while Erin Martin added a game-high 15 points and six rebounds. Omega Harrington joined the duo in double-figures with 12 points and four assists.

Tyanda Hammock led the Raiders with 14 points on the strength of four three-pointers. Brittney Whiteside finished with 12 points and six rebounds, while Whitney Lewis added 11 points and eight boards.

Cleveland State closes out the regular season on Thursday (Feb. 23) when the Vikings travel to Butler for a 7:00 p.m. tip.
