Box Score

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) - Mike King's jumper with 58.4 seconds left gave Wisconsin-Green Bay a 70-69 victory over Cleveland State Saturday night.

The Phoenix were assured their sixth consecutive win when a 3-point try by Jermaine Robinson of Cleveland State rattled in and out at the buzzer.

Matt Rohde led Green Bay with 18 points, including four 3-pointers. Brandon Morris added 15 points, while King and Javier Mendiburu chipped in 10 apiece.

A 12-4 run to close the first half and a 19-5 run to open the second gave the Phoenix (8-4, 2-0 Horizon League) what appeared to be a comfortable 58-47 lead at the 12:39 mark of the second half.

But Green Bay went scoreless for the next 5:41, as the Vikings cut the lead to 58-54, and the game was tight the rest of the way.

The Vikings (4-8, 0-1) were led by Omari Westley with 16 points and nine rebounds.

Robinson added 13 points and Percell Coles 12 for Cleveland State, which dropped its sixth in a row, although four of those losses have been by three points or less.

The Phoenix fell behind 20-8 midway through the first half, and the Vikings continued to hold a double-digit lead for much of the half. But the 12-4 run brought the Phoenix to within three points, 42-39, at halftime.

Cleveland State hit 8 of 10 3-point tries in the first half but made only 1 of 10 in the second half.
