Vikings Fall To Butler, 61-43

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Avery Sheets scored 13 points and Duane Lightfoot added 12 as Butler beat Cleveland State 61-43 Thursday night, the 14th straight loss for the Vikings.

Cleveland State's only leads were in the game's opening minutes. A layup by Mike Monserez tied the game, then Sheets scored the next six points for Butler (8-10, 4-5 Horizon League).

The Bulldogs led 26-17 at halftime and took their biggest lead at 59-38 on a pair of free throws by Monserez with under three minutes to go.

The Vikings (4-16, 0-9) were led by Omari Westley and Jermaine Robinson with 16 points each. Robinson also had nine of Cleveland State's 16 turnovers and fouled out with just over a minute remaining.
