CLEVELAND (AP) - Elijah Warren scored 37 points on 15-for-19 shooting, leading Detroit to a 75-53 win over Cleveland State on Monday.
Warren made 6-of-9 shots from 3-point range, including two to cap a 15-4 run that gave the Titans (9-7, 3-3 Horizon League) a 24-10 lead with 9:27 remaining in the first half.
The Vikings (4-13, 0-6) pulled within 25-21, but Detroit closed the first half on a 10-3 surge for a 35-24 lead. Cleveland State got no closer than nine points in the second half.
Willie Wallace added 12 points for the Titans. Detroit shot 59.2 percent from the field, connected on 7-of-14 3-pointers and outrebounded Cleveland State 32-22.
The Vikings, the only Horizon League team winless in conference play, shot only 38 percent and missed 14 of 18 3-point shots.
Warren made only four fewer shots than Cleveland State hit as a team. He also had seven rebounds and three steals.
Omari Westley led Cleveland State with 20 points and Jermaine Robinson had 19.
