Men's Hoops Falls To Youngstown State, 86-82

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (AP) - Adam Baumann scored 17 points including four consecutive free throws in the final 22 seconds to lead Youngstown State over Cleveland State 86-82 on Saturday.

Percell Coles' 3-pointer with 27 seconds remaining cut Cleveland State's deficit to 82-80. After Youngstown State (4-10, 1-4 Horizon League) inbounded the ball, Baumann was fouled and hit both free throws.

Luke Murphy countered with a jump shot for the Vikings (4-11, 0-4) with 13 seconds left. Once again Baumann was fouled after the inbounds pass and again he made both foul shots, this time with 8 seconds remaining to close the scoring.

Doug Underwood led the Penguins with 18 points, TeJay Anderson added 16 points and Khari McQueen 13.

Percell Coles came off the bench to score 23 points for Cleveland State, which trailed 45-36 at the half and took its only lead of the second half at 63-62 on Coles' 3-pointer with 7:24 remaining.

Youngstown State, which hit 59.6 percent of its shots from the field, then took the lead on a 3-pointer by Brian Radakovich to start a 16-3 run.

Jermaine Robinson had 19 points, six assists and seven rebounds for the Vikings, with Omari Westley chipping in with 17 points.

Cleveland State held a 42-27 advantage in rebounding and took 14 more shots than the Penguins.
