CLEVELAND (AP) - Willie Green scored 23 points to lead five Detroit players in double figures and the Titans shot 53 percent from the field to beat Cleveland State 70-51 Saturday.

Green hit 9-of-15 shots, including 4-of-5 attempts from 3-point range. Terrell Riggs added 14 points, Elijah Warren had 13 and Ben Green and Ryvon Covile scored 10 apiece for the Titans (9-8, 4-4 Horizon League).

Jermaine Robinson led the Vikings (7-12, 2-5) with 12 points.

Detroit opened the second half on a 15-2 run to take a 44-24 lead with 14:59 remaining. Warren hit both of his 3-pointers in the surge, and Covile provided four points on a pair of jumpers.

Cleveland State didn't get closer than 13 points after that.

The Titans hit 17-of-30 field goals in the second half and made 7-of-14 3-pointers for the game.
