Morgan Sutton

Sutton serves as an Associate Academic Coach at Cleveland State University. Her job involves coordinating study hall and tutoring programs, working with the NCAA Clearinghouse regarding initial eligibility assessments, and providing one-on-one counseling and advising in time management, note-taking, and study skills.

Sutton comes to the Vikings from Millersville University, where she served as a Graduate Assistant for NCAA Compliance and Academics. In that role, she developed and hosted personal growth workshops for 450 student-athletes. Provided academic advisement and counseling services for at-risk students. Introduced student-athletes to various campus departments and resources. Created success plans to encourage student development and independence. Formulated detailed reports of academic and athletic progression and eligibility.

Sutton worked in various areas at Coastal Carolina University after graduating. She began as an Academic Support Specialist before transitioning into a Ticketing role at CCU.

Sutton graduated from Coastal Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in recreation and sport management along with a minor in business administration, while she earned her Master of Education in Sport Management from Millersville University.
