Director of Athletics Kelsie Gory Harkey has named Dallas Boyer as Cleveland State’s Associate Athletics Director for Business and Facility Operations. Boyer has served the athletic department for nearly 20 years and brings a wealth of leadership experience to his new role.
“We are very excited to welcome Dallas to his new role,” Gory Harkey said. “His dedication to Cleveland State University and the Athletics Department through the years has made a significant impact and I am pleased he will continue to positively impact our student-athletes, coaches and staff moving forward.”
Boyer served on the women’s soccer coaching staff for 17 seasons dating back to 2007. He spent ten seasons as the lead assistant coach before being promoted to head coach for seven seasons from 2017-2023. As just the third head coach in program history, Boyer collected 49 career victories and coached 15 all-league honorees.
This past year, Boyer transitioned to a new role within the athletics business office. He served in a temporary capacity for the past six months assisting with all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the business office. In his new role, Boyer will oversee all aspects of business operations for CSU Athletics and serve as the primary liaison to campus constituents for all financial matters. In addition, Boyer will oversee operations for all of CSU’s athletics facilities and equipment, serve as a member of the senior staff and as a sport administrator for several Cleveland State Athletics programs.
“I’m very excited to continue to serve Cleveland State Athletics in this new position,” said Boyer. “This university has meant so much to our family. I want to thank Kelsie Gory Harkey and the rest of the administrative team here in the athletic department for their support, guidance and trust in me. I look forward to serving our student-athletes, coaches and staff as we move forward.”
Boyer is a 2004 graduate of Miami(OH) University with a bachelor’s degree in adolescent integrated social studies. He recently earned his master’s degree from Cleveland State in 2023.
Boyer officially began his new role on July 1st. He resides in Parma with his wife Kristen and two sons, Casey and Finn.
