Junior Craig Beaudion scored a career-high 17 points and Algevon Eichelberger added 16 points as Cleveland State extended its winning streak to three straight with a 64-59 Horizon League victory over Detroit Mercy on Thursday in the Wolstein Center.

Krusinski won seven of the nine individual races he contested across three dual meets this past week. He was a perfect 3-for-3 in first-place finishes against Miami (Ohio) and in the first dual at UIC. In his 3-for-3 effort against the Flames, Krusinski won both the 100 and 200 breaststroke by at least two full seconds. He also swam on two winning relays during the week and added a pair of second-place individual finishes.
Cleveland State will look to push its current winning streak to three straight on Thursday (Jan. 9) when it hosts Detroit Mercy in a Horizon League contest scheduled for a 7 p.m. start in the Wolstein Center.

Junior Torrey Patton scored a career-high 25 points and four players reached double figures in scoring as Cleveland State opened the home portion of its Horizon League schedule with an 82-74 victory over Youngstown State on Saturday in the Wolstein Center.
