KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Cleveland State wrapped up the first day of the WMU Betsy Kuhl Invite on Friday. The first day consisted of two rounds of singles and a round of doubles.
 
In singles, Laura Tapia led the way with a pair of victories as her first match ended in a default before winning 6-2, 6-4, over Ella Fitcher of Western Michigan.
 
Anna Mancino, Leah Geisz, and Sofia Sergieva all won their second singles matches.
 
In doubles, Leah Geisz and Anna Mancino (6-3) along with Melliz Petkova Mustafa and Anna McKnight (7-6) were victorious.
 
The Vikings will wrap up the second day of the tournament tomorrow with two rounds of doubles and a round of singles.
