Ella Franz earning Singles Player of the Week and Franz/
Melliz Petkova Mustafa taking home Doubles Team of the Week honors.
Last time out, Franz and Petkova Mustafa helped the Vikings to a 4-3 victory at Oakland, clinching a share of the Horizon League Regular Season title.
In singles, Franz picked up a 5-7, 7-5, 6-4 come-from-behind win at No. 1 singles, clinching the match for the Vikings. The win put Franz at 4-1 against league opponents this spring, while she now has a team-best 16 wins on the year.
In doubles, Franz and Petkova Mustafa posted a 6-4 win at No. 1 doubles, helping the Vikings earn the crucial doubles point. With the win, the duo finished regular season play with a 4-1 record against league opponents and a team-best 15 wins on the year.
