CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State men's tennis team will close out regular season play with a Friday night matchup, traveling to Youngstown State for a 6:00 p.m. contest.

The Vikings will be closing out a 24-match spring slate, including a six-match Horizon League schedule.
Entering Friday's matchup the Vikings have won two straight contests against Northern Kentucky and IU Indy, with their last loss coming in a 5-2 decision against the Penguins.
So far this spring,
Lincoln Battle owns a perfect 5-0 record against league opponents – all at the top of the lineup – while
Devin Boyer (No. 6) and
Nico Jamison (No. 3) are both 4-1 in league matches.
Overall this season Battle, Boyer and
Carl Gedlitschka lead the team with 21 singles wins each, while Battle and Gedlitschka are one win shy of reaching the 20-win plateau in doubles.
Battle and Gedlitschka, who have played at the No. 1 doubles spot this season, own a 19-7 record on the year and currently rank No. 57 in the ITA Doubles Rankings.

Following this weekend's matches, the Vikings will learn their matchup for Horizon League Tournament play, which runs April 24-26 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
