INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – For the second straight week the Cleveland State women's tennis team swept the Horizon League weekly awards, as Ella Franz was named the Singles Player of the Week and Franz/Melliz Petkova Mustafa earned Doubles Team of the Week honors.

This marked the second straight weekly honor for Franz, and the second weekly honor of the season for Franz and Petkova Mustafa.

In last week's match against Dayton, the Vikings picked up a 4-3 victory, marking the team's third win of the spring season.

Franz earned a win at No. 2 singles against Dayton, posting a 6-1, 4-6, 6-4 decision. The win marked her fifth of the spring season, as she has now won five of her last six matches.

In doubles, Franz and Petkova Mustafa earned a 6-2 win at the top of the lineup, helping the Vikings earn the doubles point against Dayton. The duo now has a team-best 11 wins on the year, including six this spring.
