CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State men's tennis team will close out its current six-match homestand this weekend, hosting St. John's on Friday and Butler on Sunday.

The Vikings enter the weekend on a three-match win streak, picking up wins against Mercyhurst, Niagara and Findlay last weekend. So far this year, the Vikings own a 6-1 record when playing at the MMTP.

Earlier this week,
Carl Gedlitschka was named the Horizon League Singles Player of the Week, earning the honor after going 3-0 at No. 2 singles last week. With his three wins, Gedlitschka also moved into a tie for sixth place on the CSU Singles Wins List, currently owning 82 career victories.
After this weekend's matches, the Vikings will open a four-match roadswing, including stops at SMU, UT Arlington, Northern Kentucky, and IU Indy.
Cleveland State will return home to host Youngstown State at the end of March, in the first of three #HLTennis matches inside the MMTP.
