CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State men's tennis team picked up a pair of wins on Sunday, earning a 6-1 victory over Niagara and a 7-0 win against Findlay.
In doubles, Cleveland State picked up both points on the day, including
Maxime Aremon/
Tristan Stine and
Cole Chappell/
Nico Jamison both going 2-0 on the day.
In singles,
Carl Gedlitschka led the way going 2-0 at the No. 2 spot, moving into a tie for sixth place on the CSU Singles Wins List with 82 career victories.
Along with Gedlitschka, Aremon,
Devin Boyer and
Cole Chappell also went 2-0 in singles, picking up wins against Niagara and Findlay.
Also picking up singles wins on the day were
Andrew Zimcosky, Jamison and Stine.
Next up for the Vikings will be a pair of home matches next weekend, hosting St. John's on Friday, February 27 and Butler on Sunday, March 1.
