Viking of the Week Nominees
Chevalier Emery, Men's Basketball
Averaged 23.5 points per game on the week, including a 30-point performance against Wright State.
Leah Geisz, Women's Tennis
Picked up wins at No. 5 singles and No. 2 doubles to help the Vikings earn their first win of the spring season against St. Bonaventure.
Trinity Lamp, Track & Field
Won the 60 Hurdles at the Spire Indoor Games with a time of 8.90.
Izabella Zingaro, Women's Basketball
Averaged a double-double on the week with 18.5 points and 10.5 rebounds per game after notching back-to-back double-doubles against Green Bay and RMU.
 
 
Women's Basketball
-Cleveland State will have just one game this week, hosting IU Indy on Thursday.
-The Vikings are coming off a 2-0 week, with wins over Green Bay and RMU, notching their fifth straight 20-win campaign.
-With 17 points at RMU, Colbi Maples eclipsed the 1,000-point mark during her time at Cleveland State, ending the game right on the number.
Men's Basketball
-The Vikings head to Youngstown State on Wednesday, before hosting Purdue Fort Wayne on Sunday for Senior Day.
-Jaidon Lipscomb led the Green and White in scoring against Robert Morris with 21 points, and Chevalier Emery had a game-best 30 points off the bench versus Wright State.
Track & Field
-Cleveland State will have its final tune-up for the Horizon League Championship at the Ashland Last Chance Meet on Saturday.
-The Vikings competed in two different meets this past week, turning in six personal best records.
-Trinity Lamp led the way in sprints, winning the 60 hurdles with a time of 8.90.
-Annabelle Crissman was the runner-up in the 3000, crossing with a PR time of 10:51.23.
Swim & Dive
-The Vikings compete at the Horizon League Championships in Indianapolis from Wednesday through Saturday.
-Gracie Chelf will look to win her third straight 50-yard freestyle championship.
Fencing
-Cleveland State will be back in action at the CCFC Championships this week, with action taking place on Saturday and Sunday.
-This year's conference meet will be hosted by Denison.
Men's Tennis
-The Vikings will have a busy week, hosting a pair of doubleheaders against UIC/Mercyhurst on Thursday and Niagara/Findlay on Sunday.
-Last time out, Cleveland State dropped a pair of matches at Xavier and Dayton.
-The Vikings will be returning to the MMTP to this week, where they own a perfect 3-0 record on the year.
Women's Tennis
-The Vikings will continue their current homestand with a pair of matches this weekend, hosting Western Michigan on Saturday and Bowling Green on Sunday.
-Last time out, Cleveland State picked up its first win of the spring season with a 4-3 decision over St. Bonaventure.
Lacrosse
-Cleveland State hosts Marquette in its home opener on Saturday, Feb. 21.
-The Vikings opened the season with three straight road games.
-Last game out at Bellarmine, Adam Van Voorhis tied for a game-best five points on two goals and three assists.
Golf
-Cleveland State is opening its spring slate at the Wexford Intercollegiate this week, with the two-day tournament scheduled for Monday and Tuesday.
-Last month, the Vikings were selected to finish fourth in the #HLGolf Preseason Poll.
