CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State women's tennis team picked up its first win of the 2026 spring season Saturday, earning a 4-3 victory over St. Bonaventure.
The Vikings were able to pick up the early doubles point, with

Leah Geisz earning a 6-1 win at No. 2 doubles and
Jenna Redmile/
Sofia Sergieva posting a 6-0 win at the No. 3 spot.
Geisz and Redmile both added another point for the Vikings in singles then, as Redmile earned a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 4 singles and Geisz posted a 6-0, 6-0 win at the No. 5 spot.
In addition,
Ella Franz also picked up a singles win for the Vikings, earning a 6-2, 6-1 victory at No. 2 singles.
Cleveland State was playing at home for just the second time this season, and the Vikings will continue their current homestand next weekend, hosting Western Michigan and Bowling Green on Friday and Saturday.
