INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – After helping the Cleveland State men's tennis team to a victory over Ball State last weekend,
Lincoln Battle has been named the Singles Player of the Week. This marks the second weekly honor for Battle this season.
Last time out, Battle picked up a three-set win at the top of the lineup, earning a 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 win against Ball State. His win at No. 1 singles clinched the match for the Vikings, as they picked up a 4-3 team victory against the Cardinals.
This win gave Battle a team-best 6-2 singles record this spring, while he also now has a team-leading 13 wins on the year.
