South Bend, Ind.- Cleveland State Women's Cross-Country Team traveled to Notre Dame to compete in the Joe Piane Invite competing against 24 colleges to compete in the 5k race.
Alyshia Alkerton from Windsor won the race with a time of 17:04.9, followed by Samara Quanz from Windsor with a time of 17:12.3.
For the Vikings
Annabelle Crissman finished 61
st in the meet with a time of 18:25.2, and was the top finisher for Cleveland State. As well as a new career best for a 5k race.
Natalie Keller finished with a time of 19:26.1 (159
th), Sage Colón who finished with a time of 19:32.15 (167
th), and
Kayla Crissman ran a time of 19:43.97 (180
th).
To round off the meet runners
Bailey Bechtel ran a time of 21:26.99 (209
th),
Aubrey Evans ended with a time of 21:47.66, and freshman
Reese Nolan with a time of 22:01.76.
The Cleveland State Vikings as a team had six runners who finished with a season best which include:

Natalie Keller, Sage Colón,
Kayla Crissman,
Bailey Bechtel, and
Aubrey Evans all ran a season best for a 5k race.
