CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State women's tennis team will continue its fall slate this weekend, hosting the third Horizon League Individual Championship Friday, October 2-Sunday, October 4 at the Medical Mutual Tennis Pavilion.

This weekend's event will feature a 32-player Singles Draw and a 16-Team Doubles Draw, with the winner from both brackets earning an entry into the ITA Conference Masters Championship, which will be hosted November 5-8 in Rome, Georgia.
Friday and Saturday will include two rounds of singles and one round of doubles, while Sunday's action will feature the singles final along with the doubles semifinals and final.
Cleveland State will be one of six teams competing, joining Oakland, Youngstown State, Milwaukee, NIU, and IU Indy.
Playing for the Vikings will be

Leah Geisz,
Anna Mancino, and
Laura Tapia in singles.
The doubles teams will be Mancino/Geisz, Petkova Mustafa/Redmile, and McKnight/Tapia.
Cleveland State opened the 2026 fall season at the Betsy Kuhle Invite on September 18 & 19. Geisz and Tapia led the way with 2-1 records in singles, while Geisz/Mancino went 2-1 in doubles.
