This weekend's match marks the first of 22 scheduled matches for the Vikings this spring. It will also mark the first of six straight road contests for Cleveland State over the first four weeks of the dual match season.

Cleveland State returns just three letterwinners from last season's team that captured the Horizon League Regular Season Championship, including the lone senior on the roster,
Ella Franz. This group will be joined by four true freshmen for the 2026 spring campaign.

Following the 2025 fall season, senior
Ella Franz moved into third place on the CSU Doubles Wins List, entering the spring campaign with 77 doubles wins. Franz, who already owns the Team Doubles Wins Record with
Tereze Vevere, is just five wins shy of becoming Cleveland State's individual doubles wins leader.

Following a five-tournament fall campaign,
Jenna Redmile has a team-best six singles wins on the year, while
Ella Franz,
Leah Geisz and
Melliz Petkova Mustafa all have five wins. In doubles action, Franz and Petkova Mustafa own a team-best 5-3 record.
Head Coach Frank Polito
Frank Polito is in his eighth year at the helm of the Vikings and 14
th year overall at Cleveland State, owning 87 career victories. During Polito's tenure, the Vikings have captured six Regular Season Horizon League titles and have made five #HLTennis Championship Match appearances.
