INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Cleveland State went 2-1 in the opening tri-meet to start the 2025-26 season.

DAY ONE
Cleveland State started the two-day competition with a runner-up finish in the 200-yard medley relay as
Audrey Butcher,
Ella Ciez,
Rosie Whitten, and
Gracie Chelf clocked a 1:44.04.
Isabella Caraballo won the first individual race of the year, the 500-yard freestyle, with a time of 5:04.80.
Riley Ogilvie placed third in her collegiate debut with a time of 5:08.01.
Reigning Horizon League Champion in the 50-yard freestyle, Gra. Chelf picked up where she left off, winning in 22.91.
Ellie Seiter was the runner-up in 3-meter after scoring 245.85.
DAY TWO | SESSION 1
The second day started off with the 400-yard IM that saw Ogilvie (4:34.92) finishing as the runner-up and Caraballo (4:36.01) taking third.
Third-place finishes went to
Tess Walsh (58.20) in the 100-yard butterfly and
Oksana Horova (1:57.52) in the 200-yard freestyle.
Cleveland State went first-and-second in the 100-yard backstroke behind Butcher (55.79) and Gra. Chelf (56.51).
The Vikings won the 200-yard freestyle relay with Gra. Chelf,
Haley Palmer, Horova, and Butcher with a time of 1:34.31.
Seiter scored 253.25 to win 1-meter diving.
DAY TWO | SESSION 2
Caraballo claimed her second win of the weekend in the 1000-yard freestyle after clocking a 10:27.35, and
Olivia Leonard took third with a time of 10:38.42.
In the 100-yard freestyle, Gra. Chelf was the runner-up with a time of 51.49.
Butcher won the 200-yard butterfly after clocking a 2:08.17.
Cleveland State won its second relay of the weekend in the 400-yard freestyle as Gra. Chelf, Hrova, Whitten, and Palmer clocked a 3:29.23.
