INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Horizon League announced the 2025 Valeo Outdoor Track & Field All-Academic Team, with the Cleveland State duo of Grace Frye and Madison Luthy earning a spot on the 20-member team.
 
This marks the second All-Academic accolade for both Frye and Luthy, as both earned a spot on the Indoor team earlier this year.
 
Frye, who is a graduate student, is pursuing a degree in Foreign Language – French PK-12 after already earning her undergraduate degree in French.
 
During the 2025 outdoor campaign, Frye recorded 19 top-five finishes, including four podium finishes at the Outdoor #HLTF Championships in the Discus (4^th), Javelin (2^nd), Shot Put (3^rd), and Hammer (4^th). Throughout the outdoor season, Frye set program records in both the Javelin and Hammer Throw events.
 
Luthy is also a graduate student, pursuing a degree in applied biomedical engineering after earning an undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering.
 
Throughout the outdoor season, Luthy posted eight top-five finishes, including a pair of podium showings at the Outdoor #HLTF Championships in the Heptathlon (5^th) and 400 Hurdles (6^th). Luthy finished the year holding the program record for Heptathlon.
