Tristan Stine Set To Join Cleveland State Men’s Tennis

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Cleveland State men's tennis head coach Brian Etzkin announced the addition of Tristan Stine (Austin, Texas) for the upcoming 2025-26 campaign.
 
Stine will join the Vikings as a freshman, with four years of eligibility remaining.
 
"I am incredibly proud to have Tristan join the Viking Family, he has the skills, passion and dedication to impact our singles and doubles lineup sooner than later. Tristan is also a very good student and he will fit in well with this team. I can't wait for him to be wearing the Green & White!" Etzkin said.
 
Over the last year, Stine has reached as high as No. 82 in the country according to TennisRecruiting.net.
 
In addition, Stine has won a Bronze, Silver and Gold Ball in doubles at various LI events and at National Clay Courts.
 
Stine played his prep tennis at Austin Tennis Academy, where he was coached by Brian Notis and Jack Newman.
