CHICAGO, Ill. – The Cleveland State men's tennis team continued Horizon League play Sunday, picking up a 7-0 victory at Chicago State. With the win, the Vikings are now 3-0 in league play, with all three wins coming as 7-0 sweeps.
"We caught Chicago State in their rebuild, but they competed well today. Cole joined the 20-win club and he continues to get better as the season progresses, while Lincoln picked up a nice win and we saw some of his best tennis during the third set. We are looking forward to coming back to Cleveland for the next three matches!" head coach
Brian Etzkin said.
Cleveland State picked up the early doubles point, with
Lincoln Battle/
Devin Boyer earning a 6-3 win at No. 1 doubles, while
