OLEAN, N.Y. – The Cleveland State women's tennis team got back in the win column Saturday, picking up a 5-2 victory at St. Bonaventure.
The Vikings were able to pick up the early doubles point, with

Tereze Vevere posting a 6-3 win at No. 2 doubles and
Jenna Redmile/
Melliz Petkova Mustafa earning a matching 6-3 victory at the No. 3 spot.
After St. Bonaventure was able to even the match with a win at the top of the singles lineup, the Vikings rattled of three straight wins in the middle of the lineup to clinch their fifth team victory of the spring campaign.
Vevere added to her career scoring record with a 6-3, 6-4 win at the No. 3 spot, while
Sima Heren earned a matching 6-3, 6-4 victory at No. 2 singles for her 77
th career singles win.
Cleveland State's clinching point came from Franz at No. 4 singles, as she notched a 6-4, 7-6(3) victory, before Petkova Mustafa added the final point at the No. 6 spot with a 6-2, 3-6, 1-0(5) decision.
The Vikings will be back in action next weekend, closing out non-league play by traveling to Duquesne on Sunday, March 23.
