CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State men's tennis team opened up their weekend on Friday evening, dropping a 5-2 match against DePaul.
Cleveland State was able to earn the early doubles point, getting wins from the No. 1 and No. 3 spots. At the top of the lineup,
Lincoln Battle and
Devin Boyer earned a 6-4 victory, while
Carl Gedlitschka and
Cole Chappell posted a 6-1 win at No. 3 doubles.
Boyer also picked up Cleveland State's lone singles win on the day, earning a 7-5, 6-2 victory at the No. 5 spot.
The Vikings will close out the weekend on Sunday, March 2, hosting Buffalo at 11:00 a.m.
