INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Cleveland State is fourth with 62 points after the first day of competition at the 2025 Horizon League Championships. Oakland tops the standings with 72 points while Youngstown State and IUI are tied for second with 66 points.

The opening night featured just two relays on the women's side.

The Vikings started the championships with a runner-up finish in the 200-yard medley relay as Audrey Butcher, Ella Ciez, Giovanna Cappabianca, and Grace Chelf finished with the third-fastest time of 1:41.01.

In the 800-yard freestyle, the Green and White placed fifth as Ana Sofia Sousa, Kayla Brock, Cappabianca, and Isabella Caraballo clocked a 7:33.62.

The championships continue tomorrow with 1M diving on the women's side along with the 500 Free, 200 IM, 50 Free, and 200 Free Relay.
