CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State men's tennis team has announced its schedule for the upcoming 2026 spring season, with 24 scheduled matches, including 12 inside the Medical Mutual Tennis Pavilion.
Cleveland State will once again open its spring slate on the road, traveling to Penn State on January 17 for the first dual match of the spring campaign. The Vikings will then host a doubleheader for their home opener, hosting Toledo and Edinboro inside the MMTP on January 19.
A trip to Chicago for matches against DePaul (January 23) and Northwestern (January 24) will be next, before another single match at home against St. Bonaventure on January 30.
Cleveland State will open the month of February with four straight road matches, traveling to Buffalo (February 1), Ball State (February 7), Xavier (February 13), and Dayton (February 14) during this stretch.
The Vikings will then return home for a pair of doubleheaders, facing UIC and Mercyhurst on February 19 before Niagara and Findlay on February 22. Cleveland State will close out this six-match homestand by hosting St. John's (February 27) and Butler (March 1).
Next up for the Vikings will be their annual spring break trip, with this year's trip taking them to Texas to face SMU (March 8) and UT Arlington (March 10).
Cleveland State will then open Horizon League play with back-to-back matches on the road, traveling to Northern Kentucky (March 20) and IU Indy (March 21), before returning home for its final three matches inside the MMTP against Youngstown State (March 27), Northern Kentucky (April 11), and IU Indy (April 12).
The Vikings will close out regular season play at Youngstown State on April 17.
The 2026 Horizon League Championship will be hosted in Cincinnati, Ohio at the Lindner Family Tennis Center, with first round matches slated for April 24, semifinals set for April 25 and the championship match set for April 26.
