CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State women's tennis team has announced its schedule for the upcoming 2026 spring season, with 21 total scheduled matches in addition to the 2026 Horizon League Tournament.
 
Cleveland State will open its spring slate with six straight road matches, beginning at Eastern Michigan on January 17. The Vikings will close out the month of January at Cincinnati (January 23) and West Virginia (January 31), before opening the month of February with a trio of matches against Temple (February 1), Marshall (February 6) and Miami (Ohio) (February 7).
 
The Vikings will open play at the Medical Mutual Tennis Pavilion in the middle of February, as a contest against Toledo (February 13) will kickoff a five-match homestand. Included in this stretch will be contests against St. Bonaventure (February 14), Western Michigan (February 21), Bowling Green (February 22), and Buffalo (February 27).
 
Cleveland State will then hit the road for a pair of matches at Ball State (March 1) and Dayton (March 6), before heading south for a Spring Break match at FGCU (March 11).
 
The Vikings will then return home for a single match against Mercyhurst (March 19), before returning to the road for their final non-league match of the season at Xavier on March 22.
 
Cleveland State will open its five-match Horizon League slate with back-to-back road contests, traveling to Youngstown State (March 28) and Milwaukee (April 4), before returning home to host Northern Kentucky (April 11) and IU Indy (April 12). The final regular season contest will be on April 19, as the Vikings travel to Oakland to close out the #HLTennis slate.
 
The 2026 Horizon League Championship will be hosted in Cincinnati, Ohio at the Lindner Family Tennis Center, with first round matches slated for April 24, semifinals set for April 25 and the championship match set for April 26.
