Cleveland State Cross Country Takes on Wooster Twilight Challenge

Starting Line
The Vikings added the 5K Twilight Challenge hosted by the College of Wooster. Friday's 5K is set for a 7:00 p.m. start and will be run on the track at John P. Papp Stadium.
 
This will mark Cleveland State's seventh race of the season and its final tune-up before the NCAA Regionals next weekend.
 
Last Time Out
Cleveland State put up a solid showing at the Horizon League Championship, led by Ana Crangle for a second straight year. The senior finished fifth overall to earn First Team All-League honors with the fastest time in program history, 21:03.4.
 
Crangle becomes the third Viking to garner multiple league honors. Her record time topped Anna Brandt's time of 21:08, which was set in 2019. Natalie Keller finished 16th overall for the second consecutive season with a personal-best time of 21:40.1. Keller's time is the fifth fastest in team history.
 
Wooster Walk Back
The Green and White had six participants at the Wooster Challenge, with all of them finishing in the top 20. Crangle finished first overall with a time of 17:17, while Keller placed second in a time of 17:40.
 
Coach Jason Hudson
Coach Hudson will be entering his eighth season with the Green and White.
 
Up Next
Cleveland State will conclude the 2025 cross country season at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional in Evansville, Ind., on Friday.
