TOLEDO, Ohio – The Cleveland State women's tennis team opened play at the Rocket Invite Friday, picking up a pair of doubles wins and a singles win.

Cleveland State's lone singles win on the day came from Leah Geisz, who earned a 6-3, 7-5 straight-set win over Oakland.

In doubles, Ella Franz and Melliz Petkova Mustafa earned a 7-5 win, while Laura Tapia and Geisz picked up a 6-0 victory – with both coming against Oakland.

Play at the Rocket Invite will wrap up tomorrow, with two rounds of doubles and one round of singles.
