CLEVELAND, Ohio – Cleveland State opened the home portion of its schedule with a 200-100 victory over St. Bonaventure on Saturday afternoon.
Xander Austin won 1-meter diving with a score of 312.38.
Noah Lang claimed the 1650-yard freestyle after putting up a time of 15:52.75.
The Vikings took the 200-yard medley relay behind
Jaden Davillier,
Tyler Schultze,
Justin Schneider, and
Daniel Lyngaas with a time of 1:30.87.
Gabe Hudgens claimed the 200-yard freestyle after touching in 1:43.97.
The 100-yard backstroke went to Davillier as the freshman put up a time of 50.58.
Cleveland State dominated the 100-yard breaststroke, taking the top four spots, led by
Alex Cucu (56.80).
Aidan Rush sprinted to a time of 21.94 to win the 50-yard freestyle.
The Green and White took the top three spots in the 100-yard freestyle behind Lyngaas (46.05), Parkhurst (46.69), and Hudgens (46.80).
In the 200-yard backstroke,
Brock Wallace (1:52.23) won the event with
Tanner Beck (1:53.03) in second, and
Noah Greer (1:56.24) in third.
Schultze (2:06.35) claimed the 200-yard breaststroke with
Gorkem Sulun (2:07.83) in second and
Aidan Florio (2:08.76) in third.
Ahmad Abdalhak claimed the final individual race, the 200-yard IM, with a time of 1:54.47.
The meet concluded with the 400-yard freestyle relay of Lyngaas,
Jacopo Lanzo, Hudgens, and Parkhurst winning with a time of 3:03.79.
The Vikings remain home to face Youngstown State on Saturday, Nov. 8, at 1 p.m.
