PITTSBURGH, Pa. - The Vikings completed its busy weekend with a split on Saturday as the Green and White defeated George Mason while falling to the hosts, Duquesne.
The 200-yard medley relay of
Eva Smith,
Ella Ciez,
Audrey Butcher, and
Grace Chelf finished as the runner-up with a time of 1:44.78.
Chelf sprinted to a time of 23.23, winning the 50-yard freestyle.
Giovanna Cappabianca finished as the runner-up in the 400-yard IM after clocking a 4:31.02.
The Vikings went second and third in the 100-yard backstroke with Butcher (56.61) and Smith (57.53).
In 1M diving,
Ellie Seiter placed second with 258.00 points and
Brooke Eichel was a spot back with 239.90 points.
The Vikings capped off the day with a win in the 200-yard freestyle as Butcher,
Haley Palmer,
Kaelah Baccus, and Chelf clocked a 1:35.04.
Cleveland State will conclude the regular season on Friday, January 24 at Oakland with a start time of 4 p.m.
