CLEVELAND, Ohio – The men improved to 4-0 on the year after defeating Calvin on Senior Day by a score of 192-102.
Prior to the start of the meet, the Vikings recognized five seniors:
Andrew Arslanian,
Connor Green,
Paddy Johnston,
Josh Merchbaker, and
Jackson Nester.
James Wolf won 3M after putting up a score of 293.33 and 1M with a tally of 279.30.
Nester was victorious in the 200-yard freestyle (1:39.81), 200-yard backstroke (1:50.12), and 200-yard IM (1:49.20).
Johnston won the 50-yard freestyle (20.28) and 100-yard freestyle (45.45).
Ahmad Abdalhak claimed the 100-yard breaststroke (55.67) and 200-yard breaststroke (2:02.84).
In the distance events,
Brock Wallace won the 1000-yard freestyle (9:43.32) and
Noah Greer won the 500-yard freestyle (4:42.84).
The Vikings ended the evening with a win in the 400-yard freestyle as
Joe Parkhurst,
Cameron Craft,
Daniel Lyngaas, and Johnston finished in 3:02.86.
Both teams will head to St. Bonaventure for a dual meet on Friday, January 17 followed by a three-team meet on Saturday in Pittsburgh against George Mason and Duquesne.
