Women's Soccer
-The Vikings will wrap up the 2024 season with a trip to Milwaukee this weekend, taking on the Panthers on Saturday, October 26.
-Last time out, Cleveland State picked up back-to-back shutouts, defeating Youngstown State 1-0 on the road before earning a 4-0 victory over Oakland in home finale.
-Elyse Broderick recorded her first two collegiate wins in goal, while Brooke Opferman recorded two goals against Oakland, and Mayra Sesmas scored the game-winner at YSU to raise her season total to a team-high five goals.
 
Men's Soccer
-Cleveland State will play just one game this week, hosting Purdue Fort Wayne on Saturday, October 26 for Senior Night.
-Last week, the Vikings swept the #HLMSOC weekly awards, with Matteo Correia (Offensive) and Ryan Poling (Defensive) picking up the honors.
-In last weekend's game at Milwaukee, Ryan Poling made a career-best nine saves in goal.
 
Volleyball
-Cleveland State will hit the road this week, opening a five-match roadswing at RMU on Thursday, October 24 and Friday, October 25.
-Last time out, the Vikings split their series against Purdue Fort Wayne, including a 3-0 victory on Alumnae Day with over 30 former Vikings in attendance.
-Entering this weekend's matches, the Vikings are tied for fourth in the #HLVB standings.
 
Cross Country
-The Vikings will take the week off, returning to action at the Horizon League Championships on Saturday, November 2.
-Last time out, Cleveland State participated in the Falcon Invitational, paced by Natalie Keller (22:12) and Ana Crangle (22:31) who both posted top-30 finishes.
-In addition to Keller and Crangle, Ariana Coats (23:59) also tallied a personal-best 6K time at the Falcon Invitational.
 
Swimming & Diving
-Cleveland State will take a week off before heading to Youngstown State on Saturday, November 2.
-Last time out, the women hosted Eastern Michigan for their annual Pink Meet, with Isabella Caraballo (1000 Free), Grace Chelf (50 Free) and Giovanna Cappabianca (200 IM) picking up individual swimming wins.
-Brooke Eichel won the 1M with an NCAA Zone Cut of 270.08 and placed second in the 3M.
 
Men's Golf
-Cleveland State will wrap up its fall season at the Dayton Flyer Invitational this week, taking part in the 54-hole tournament on Monday, October 21 and Tuesday, October 22.
-The Vikings will be one of 12 teams in the field, with action taking place at the NCR South Course.
 
Women's Golf
-The Vikings will close out their fall campaign this week, participating in the Dayton Flyer Invitational Monday, October 21 and Tuesday, October 22.
-The 54-hole tournament will take place at the NCR North Course, with the Vikings being one of 10 teams in the field.
 
Women's Tennis
-Cleveland State will have the week off from competition, returning to action at the Toledo Invitational on Friday, November 1 and Saturday, November 2.
-Last time out, the Vikings hosted the annual Viking Invitational, with Sima Heren capturing the singles title and the duo of Tereze Vevere and Ella Franz taking home the doubles title.
 
Men's Tennis
-The Vikings will be back in action with the Viking Invitational this weekend, welcoming teams to the Medical Mutual Tennis Pavilion Friday, October 25 through Sunday, October 27.
-This weekend's tournament will feature a Singles Draw and Doubles Draw, with seven teams participating.
-This will be the fifth tournament of the fall season for the Vikings, with Cleveland State last in action at the ITA Midwest Regional earlier this month.

Elyse Broderick, Women's Soccer
Recorded back-to-back shutouts against Youngstown State and Oakland, helping the Vikings pick up their first wins of the season with five saves on the week.
 
Brooke Eichel, Women's Swim & Dive
Registered an NCAA Zone Cut after winning the 1M against Eastern Michigan, and was the runner-up in the 3M event.
 
Sima Heren, Women's Tennis
Went 3-0 at the Viking Invitational to capture the Singles Title, picking up wins against Duquesne, Bowling Green & Youngstown State.
 
Natalie Keller, Cross Country
Paced the Vikings at the Falcon Invitational with a 20^th place finish, posting a 6K time of 22:12 which ranks fifth on the top-performances list.
