CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State women's tennis team wrapped up play at the Viking Invitational Sunday, with
Sima Heren capturing the singles title.
Heren capped off a 3-0 weekend by picking up a 6-4, 6-1 victory over Youngstown State's Yeseniia Ovcharova on Sunday, capturing the Viking Invitational singles title.
In addition to Heren,
Jenna Redmile and
Filippa Frogner also picked up wins on Sunday, Redmile earning a 7-6(6), 6-2 victory over YSU's Line Greyling and Frogner posting a 6-2, 7-5 victory over Lydia Foster of YSU.
Cleveland State will be back in action the first weekend of November, competing at the Toledo Invitational Friday, November 1 and Saturday, November 2.
