NIAGARA, N.Y. – The Cleveland State women (1-1) fell on the road to Niagara (1-1) by a score of 120-85 on Friday evening.
Grace Chelf won two events on the afternoon: the 50-yard freestyle (24.00) and 100-yard freestyle (53.07).
The 200-yard butterfly went to
Giovanna Cappabianca as the graduate transfer touched in 2:09.94. She later finished second in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:23.20.
Cleveland State went second and third in the 100-yard IM with
Audrey Butcher (1:00.61) and
Ella Ciez (1:01.78).
The Viking claimed the second and third spots in the 200-yard backstroke with Butcher (2:09.33) and
Hannah Panko (2:10.67).
Isabella Caraballo was the runner-up in the 1000-yard freestyle (10:34.79) and 500-yard freestyle (5:10.12).
The Vikings got third-place finishes from
Kayla Brock in the 200-yard freestyle (1:59.17) and
Haley Palmer in the 50-yard freestyle (24.74).
Cleveland State will remain on the road to face Youngstown State on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 11 a.m.
