Women's Tennis Picks Up 7-0 Win At St. Bonaventure

ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – The Cleveland State women's tennis team picked up its third straight win Saturday evening, earning a 7-0 sweep at St. Bonaventure.

· 2018 Record: 4-7
· This marked Cleveland State's third straight victory and its fourth win out of its last five matches.
· The Vikings improved to 9-1 all-time against St. Bonaventure.
· With her win at No. 3 singles, Aleksandra Golawska moved into a tie for ninth place on the CSU Singles Wins List with 62 career wins.

The Points
· For the third straight match the Vikings picked up the early doubles point, with Isabella Spindler and Aleksandra Golawska picking up a 6-1 victory at No. 1 doubles and Gaby Schoenberg and Anastasia Perin picking up a matching 6-1 win at the No. 3 spot.
· Jana Schober picked up Cleveland State's first singles point, earning a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 4 singles for her fourth straight victory.
· Aleksandra Golawska then posted a 6-3, 6-1 win at No. 3 singles, improving to 4-1 when playing at No. 3 singles.
· The clinching point came from Gaby Schoenberg at No. 2 singles then, as she posted a 6-1, 6-2 victory. Schoenberg now has a team-best 13-7 singles record this year, including a team-best 8-2 mark this spring.
· Isabella Spindler evened her overall singles record at 10-10 with a 6-3, 6-3 victory at the top of the singles lineup, giving Cleveland State the 5-0 advantage.
· Anastasia Perin and Blanche Lenoan then picked up the final two singles wins, Perin with a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 5 singles and Lenoan with a 6-1, 6-0 victory at the No. 6 spot.
