Women's Swimming in Fourth After Day Two

CLEVELAND, Ohio- The Cleveland State women's swimming and diving team competed in the Third Annual Magnus Cup on day one at Busbey Natatorium.  The Vikings tallied have 494 points through two days, which is good enough for fourth place. 

Diving was the first finals event where Samantha Sposet placed fourth in the 3-meter with a score of 256.50. Madisen Tretter finished second in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:02.99.

"Another outstanding night of racing. The team came out and was more focused than yesterday. We were able to carry it throughout the session." said Head Coach Paul Graham.

The Vikings will be back in the pool tomorrow (Nov. 23) for the third and final day of the Magnus Cup, with prelims beginning at 9:00 a.m. and the finals starting at 3:00 p.m.
